Question is in the title.
yes or you can add it to the other hub as a matter device as well (so both hubs are directly connected to it)
Not what I want to do. Receiving hub has no radios turned on. Selecting Matter device in Hub Mesh on one hub, but it doesn't appear on other hub, so I guessing it is a no.
You don't need a radio turned on for matter persae. It runs over lan/wifi so as long as your hub is connected to your lan you can have the device directly hooked up to it or via mesh. Both work.
Worked fine for me. I selected a Matter device (Matter over WiFI RGBTW bulb) on Hub A and then on Hub B it was available in the Linked Devices tab.
Strange. Another hub can see the Matter device via Mesh. Rebooted both hubs with no change. Decided to enable Matter on hub with no radios. For some reason, I thought Zigbee had to turned on for Matter to work. I was wrong again. Still don't know why Mesh didn't work, but this s a better solution anyway.
Matter runs over wifi (lan) or wifi/thread (which you need a thread border router in the mix)
