C8 came preset at 16, with a max of 20. Any downside to bumping it up to 20? I think I read about interference with WIFI. I haven't had problems with the C7 and WIFI and the channel is at 20.

This seems to be confusion between Channel and Power. The C-7 didn't have a selectable power setting, only a channel setting.

More flexibility is good. Some people need more power to reach the corner of their house. For those who don't, staying with the default value is all it's needed.

Of course. I was just pointing out that the original post seemed to be confusing channel selection with power selection.
