Last weekend I migrated from a C8 to a C8 Pro. The experience itself was really good. I have a number of cloud connections and an integration with Home Assistant and I was worried something would go wrong.
I followed the instructions in the documentation and it all went really well. The only slight issue I had was with the app (Android) not reconnecting (it would not see the new Hub in the list) this was fixed by a simple re install on my phone. My wife's IPhone worked no problems.
I am however left with a few device issues which I assume is caused by operating the new hub and idiosyncracies between hardware versions etc.
My sonoff ZB mini L2s that I have still work but are much less reliable than before. This error appears....
They often miss commands to turn on/off from my automations. They can be used from the device pages though.
I also have a Moes no neutral 2 button light switch which was working fine since the migration but yesterday I tried to connect it to Hue as per the other lights/switches in my house but couldn't, so I then paired it back to my HE, it pairs back but can only be controlled on/off for about 5 seconds before it becomes unresponsive each time. I've followed previous advice on here about re pairing after changing drivers, also choosing the Device to remove states etc but nocombination of this works. The device identifies as
The device was working fine before I tried to pair it to my Hue. The reason I didn't use it on there after pairing was the hue wouldn't operate the buttons independently. It showed and acted as one device instead of two buttons.
I have another device from Moes which looks like the same switch which is 3 button. I'm now worried that if I ever have to re pair that device back to the C8 pro in the future it will have the same problem. That light switch is the most used in my house.
So I guess I am looking for other things to try from others who have migrated and had same/similar issues or if anyone can recommend alternatives to the Zbmini L2 (I am in UK) and also no neutral 2 and 3 button zigbee switches. Ideally which would work via Hue, but if not continue to use them via the HE. I've looked online and cannot see any sources. The switches I have working in my house so far are all single switch candeo dimmers or moes singles.
My only other option I can see at the moment is to try to re pair them to my old non pro hub and use them via Hub Mesh. Not easy as the 2 button switch is on the 3rd floor of my house and I doubt the range would work.
