I have recently upgraded from C7 to C8 Pro. One issue with some temp sensors that needed to be removed and re-added but other than that all went well.
I have some Innr smart plugs, all of which can turn on and off manually via the new C8 Pro without issue,
However, I have a couple of daily Simple Automation Rules apps to turn off one of the plugs, then turn it on again an hour later. This is to force a reboot on the device plugged into the Innr.
This ran fine for a couple of days, but today it neither the turning off or turning on app succeeded.
If I look at the plug in 'Devices' then look at 'Logs', unlike previous days, it doesn't show the plug being turned off or on tdoay,
However, if I look in 'Events', it shows the apps ran eg '"Command called: on()' and 'Command called: off()' at the correct time, but no 'digital' event showing the plug was affected.
Looks like the apps ran but somehow the plug didn't react.
I have tried turning the plug off and on again directly using the options in the 'Device' record for this plug and it is fine.
Any ideas what might have gone wrong? Did the hub lose communication with the plug temporarily (the hub, router and plug are all in the same room, within 20 feet of each other).
The old C7 hub never had a problem.
The C8 Pro is sitting next to the router (as was the C7 - which is disconnected, btw).
I have enabled logging for the two apps , and enabled 'debug logging' for the device but not sure if this will help find the problem.
