These can be problematic also as the GE/Jasco devices from the factory only require a simple push of the button... @JasonJoel has drivers that allow you to change the device to a more complex (alternate) pairing mode... Its like two taps up and two taps down or something like that...
I have more than a few times had exclude running when someone from the family flipped on a light switch and boom... gone...
I also suspect, the electronic action will also remove them, even on the newer devices...
In looking at how Jason did his drivers to enable the alternate inclusion/exclusion thing, I found I could use the basic z-wave tool driver to set that option in all my GE/Jasco devices... So they all use the alternate method and since doing that, I haven't had any "accidental" exclusions...
