C7 Not Supporting S2 on Zooz Zen16 Multi Relay

Just ordered one of these relays and found that the latest version of Hubitat doesn't support S2 on the Zen16 relay. Earlier versions did.

Is there a fix coming?

Thanks.

I have a zen16 joined with S2 right now on my C7, so it should work.

I also have a Zen16 with S2 paired to my C7. Pairing was done with the current Hubitat OS.

Yep Iโ€™ve repaired it before, itโ€™s been joined to my hub for quite a while now without issue. It has consistently worked for the past 2 months.

Mine paired fine with my C-7 on 2.2.3.148 using the default security options when I migrated from my C-5 on 2.2.3.148, but I changed to no security pairing because the response was too slow (several seconds per command, too slow to control our patio fireplace lights, which require on, off, on sequence within 3 seconds to put controller into color cycle mode). Response became immediate when I re-paired with all security unchecked - itโ€™s only fireplace lights. All pairing was done with Hub beside the Zen-16.

Now, I have tuned in numerous bug reports on the consolidated Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7 Series driver to Hubitat support, which has replied that the bugs have been identified and are expected to be fixed in the next firmware release (2.2.4), which, I understand, has not yet gone into beta test.

Thanks all. I'll give it a whirl when it comes in.
I'm trying to give a WaterCop Classis have some z-wave control.

Well, it came in and I fooled around with it.

When including, only one check box is checked by default: Security 2 Class 0 - Unauthenticated
This is verified in Z-Wave Details.

I tried clicking on the Security 2 Class 1 box, but it did not include.

This was in the log:

It seemed to be buggy, as in it would lock up, with S2 Class1, so I unchecked all the boxes, as in the Zooz link above, so no security, and it works.

The ZEN16 doesn't support authenticated mode. If it did, there would be a DSK and/or QR code on the device. It's S2 unauthenticated, or no security at all.

You know, you're right. There was a number on the device, but turns out, it's a 4 digit number, so there you go. Duh.

The 4 digit number on the plate is the production date of the unit: MMYY.
