I have a C7 hub on version 2.4.0.150
I just added an Inovelli Blue Fan Switch (VZM35-SN).
I first installed the driver from their site and then I paired the switch. Unfortunately, no matter what I did, the hub was not recognizing that it needed to use the driver. I manually set the type for the device to the inovelli driver.
I have successfully done the following:
- configured the parameters
- sent commands from the driver page and had the switch react
What isn't working is receiving button press events. I am not seeing any events from the device when I press buttons.
I also installed a Blue 2n1 switch at the same time (VZM31-SN) and it is working flawlessly. It is about 3 feet away from the Blue Fan swtich.
Where should i start looking?
Did you run the "Configure" command itself?
You could also try resetting and re-pairing the device (without removing it from the hub first).

I had not run the configure command. I don’t know what that is supposed to do. But I ran it now.
I ran it with “blank” and nothing changed.
I ran it with “all” and the. Things started working.
I assume that this configure all command is automatically sent by the driver during device discovery and since my device did t seem to match the driver it must not have been sent.
It seems almost all good now. Click on works, double click on and off work. But my automation for click off isn’t triggering. I will have to look into that when I get back home.
Thank you very much for the help!
This is all working perfectly now. Thanks for your help.
The click of the off button wasn't working because I must not have saved my changes on the rule. When I came back to it the next day, I saw that the rule wasn't proper and once I fixed it, the automation started working.
