Looks like a soft reset and a restored backup fixed the issue. Running the hub for 1 day:
- Before: Hub had ~284 MB memory free.
- After Soft Reset: ~525 MB memory free.
My Hub got down to near 0 free memory before crashing. This is my old C7 retired to development so I did not notice until today. Mem dropped fast considering this hub is not doing much of anything. Just did the soft reset, we will see if this fixes it. The UI seems to be MUCH faster now, I may soft reset my main hub as well.
The major drops correspond to when HPM does it update check, which usually does not chew up that much memory (or it releases it when done).
Funny you guys say that. I had to soft reset my development c7 a week or two ago. It was doing the same thing where the memory would drop super fast until the hub completely locked up.
Soft reset fixed it. No idea what happened for it to need it, but it's a mystery.
Interesting, glad to see it wasn't just me. Thanks for sharing.
I'm on a C-8 now, so a little off topic. I'm almost hoping the next update from 2.3.5.152 is a little way off so I can see how long I can get without rebooting (or my 'low memory' rule firing and scheduling a reboot). I'm currently at 27 days uptime with 274064KB free memory.
My C-8 runs low memory warning after som 3-4 days.
I tried a soft reset and restore a backup and that solved the low memory problem.
Seems that my database somehow has been corrupted.
The above solved my problem
