Hey, C4 update has been stuck at 30% updating app definitions for about 20 minutes, do I just leave it or what’s the best option to not brick it? I can access the troubleshooting menu.
restore previous platform, reboot, create local backup and restore it from the local backup to ensure clean database. Shut down, unplug power for 1 minute, then power back up and try again. You may have to leave it overnight if it sticks after that., .
This works - my C3 did the same thing.

Thanks Rick. I book marked your post, because I knew I had to upgrade and it just happened to me. I experiemented and instead of restoring prior version, I used the diaagnostic tool to boot in safe mode. after being stuck at 30% on the upgrade. C4 finally came up on 2.5.0.158 in safe mode, rebooted w/ DB rebuild and I'm back up on 2.5.0.158.
