C-8 and C-8 Pro Hub Protect and Remote Admin

Follow the bouncing ball ...
I have a C-8 and my Girlfriend who has a home in another city has my old C-5
I just bought a C-8 Pro over the weekend to replace my C-8 and move it to her home to replace the C-5. The reason is that I can place the C-8 anywhere in her home as opposed to next to her Router
I have Hub Protect and Remote Admin on an annual basis which I will continue on the C-8 Pro. I would like to add HP and RA on an annual basis to the C-8 that is going to her home.
I understand that there is a multi hub discount ( hey every little bit helps) but I'm wondering how do I register the C-8 to get that discount? The C5 is under her email address . Do I need to use my email address thus the same account when I add the HP/RA on her C-8. Bottom the two Hubs will be in two different cities
Does this make sense?

Let me add one additional detail you’ll need to consider, when you go to migrate the C-5 to the C-8 both will need to be on the same account for the migration backup to be available.

Thanks for that detail. I was wondering about that. Presently there are only 3 devices on the C-5 so I can just start fresh

Yes, unless you want to pay for two Remote Admin services and also not be eligible for the multi-hubs discount on additional Hub Protect.

If you register the hubs with the same account, you only need one Remote Admin license per account to cover all hubs. The Remote Admin service on additional hubs is free and each hub is enrolled automatically, once you subscribe a hub.

For additional Hub Protect service, the annual cost is $19.99/year. The discount is applied automatically during the checkout when you purchase the additional service.
