Please be sure to check your spam folder. We are back at normal response times within 24 hours, currently.
If you can't find a response from us, please send me a private message along with your hub id and I'd be happy for further investigate what happened.
I would not try to deregister again, that probably wont do anything helpful.
I wonder if you use the diagnostic tool and first check the clock and adjust in there if needed, but then try "Download Latest" and see if it will download the current platform. You could then use the Restore Previous button to update. Maybe the connection issue got fixed in an update? I know back in the later 2.3.9 area there were some cloud connection problems. Unfortunately it might not be able to download the update due to the connection issue. You could try rolling back the platform too from that same button, worth a shot.
You could also download your backups for safe keeping, then do a soft reset and boot up without restoring. See if you can get anywhere that way?
If not comfortable with that let Bobby check it out first. Not sure what he will be able to see though since it cannot seem to connect to their cloud system.
I am remembering a case not too long ago where someone had the parental controls enabled for their hub for some reason and it was blocking something from working, possibly the cloud access. Can you double check this on your router? It is the page that looks something like this. Make sure the hub is not listed on there at all, totally remove it from the list if it is.
This goes by MAC so even with changing the IP it would follow the same hub.
Thank you Jeff, I checked, but it's not i. The list of blocked device and like I said, in that post, the is able to ping hubitat and dns.
Also I use that hub for my wifi devices like Tuya thru the cloud and its working perfectly.
I finally got a response from my support ticket and will give them all the information needed.
Thank you very much
Thank you, got an answer in my email this morning.
Ok I was really hoping that was it. It would have the exact symptoms you have. The Ping and many other operations would get through but the cloud connection and platform updates was getting blocked from the "File Transfer" being checked on the parental controls if I remember correctly.
You could turn the "Web Apps and Filters" totally off as a test as well, it will remember all the client settings if you turn it back on afterwards.
That was a good idea, but it did not work
