C-5 to C-8 Migration - Z-wave devices not working

Just migrated from C-5 to C-8. Migration seemed to work cleanly. Have given it about an hour and none of the Z-wave devices seem to work (tried from the device page - nothing happens).

Read through other threads on the z-wave issues but since I'm new to the C-8, hoping someone can take a look at the device topology, device graph and the routing table to let me know if this looks normal. Thanks for your help.

EDIT: Zigbee seems to be working fine.

C5 Z-Wave migration has some limitations...maybe those limitations are affecting you:

@danabw - I don't think these are applicable to me. I had a standard C-5 (North America config).

UPDATE: Shutting down the hub and cutting power for 15 minutes appears to have revived Z-Wave devices :face_exhaling:

It may be a long shot, but try shutting down the hub (via the UI), and when shutdown completes. then unplug it from the wall for a minute or so. Plug it back and see...

It's the equivalent of the ol' off/on trick, but it may help shake the radio into working.

EDIT - nevermind - you beat me to the punch - glad it's working!

Would have been the next suggestion.

FWIW, to clear the Z-Wave (and Zigbee) radios, you really only have to wait 30s or so after shutting down...if you run into similar "odd" Z-Wave issues a quick shut-down/pull power/wait 30s/restart is usually a good first TS step.

Hi, I'm having z-wave issues since migrating from C-5 to C-8, probably due to what you describe here re external z-wave adapters. I have an EU one that doesn't look like what's in your pic, though it's what followed with the C-5 hub when I bought it.

When I went to install the cloud backup to the C-8, I couldn't choose to migrate z-wave, and its box was not checked.

I have no z-wave devices on the z-wave details page though all the devices show up on the list.

Do you or anyone else know how I can remedy this without manually moving it all? (I've already had problems trying to manually migrate some Fibaro Dimmers).

I'll try a shut down now to see if it works. Will edit this post in ca 15 minutes with results.

No luck. I will try some other stuff when I have time.
