C-5 > C-8 Question About Subscriptions

On my C-5 I had the "Hub Protect + Remote Admin" subscriptions. Per the instructions, I cancelled that subscription on Saturday and sent a support ticket in with the request to extend a temporary subscription to my new C-8.

I just checked under my account, and so far I'm not seeing the temporary subscription. I realize that this was over a weekend, so I haven't been too concerned.

Except now my C-5 has disappeared from my registered hubs. I did not deregister this hub yet. I was waiting to make sure that everything was OK on the C-8 before deregistering and resetting the C-5. So I'm wondering what's going on here?

That is to be expected, as the hub is no longer active. The registration isn't lost nor is the information about subscription. But since you reached out. Your service has been transferred and your C5 deregistered. Please be sure not to click register my hub on the C5 as it will register again with the email address that you are logged into my.hubitat.com. Also, remember that in June you'll need to sign-up your C-8 hub if you'd like to continue the service coverage.

Thanks for the reply @bobbyD . Apparently I just jumped the gun. I shall try to practice patience.

One more question, though. What if I want to use my C-5 for testing or whatever, but don't need a subscription on it. When I power it up, will it show up again as registered? If not, will it be safe to re-register it when I have a "real" subscription on the C-8?
