Buy replacement C8 antennas

Where can we get the OEM antennas.

@mccoart
Are yours broken?

I knew the first response would never be an answer.

No. They are missing.

Where can we get the OEM antennas?

See this thread:

But do note that that user didn’t lose the antennas, one of them broke. I don’t know if they routinely honor all requests for replacements regardless of reason why.

The antennas are also easy to replace with non-OEM antennas that have similar specs from any online retailer.

I'm sure @rlithgow1 was trying to be helpful and better understand the reason for your question to provide you with the best answer. Your best bet is to assume that community members here are trying to be helpful rather than whatever your assumption was.

Dude do you really need to make this an argument with everyone else here?

Look at the linked thread I posted and contact support.

Awesome thanks. I was just wondering if they have a source for them, maybe they can sell replacement parts.

Thank you.

I did. Just not until I saw your response. I am used to the socratic method of answering questions.

Warranty replacement hubs don't come with Antennas because the recipient is expected to reuse the originals.

If you purchased a hub on the grey market and are missing the antennas, I'd be suspicious that the Hub got replaced due to some real or imagined defect. If it was an imagined defect, then the hub might still be good. I'd look at Amazon to get replacement antennas, but that would have a potential of throwing good money after bad if the Hub turns out to be actually defective.

This gives you a total of TWO paths to pursue... the warranty path and the Amazon path.

I am embedding a C8 into a gl.inet router. A Puli AX with the extended case of another model for a travel router. I want to put the pigtails on it for bulkhead mounts. I need those little RD minis that come with the C8. It's a cool project, youd like it.

That’s surprising, since @rlithgow1 answered your question with another question, which was aimed at getting a better understanding of why you were asking your question.

But that seemed to irritate you.

Unless perhaps you mean you are used to the Socratic method, but do not like it :man_shrugging:.

I figured. I just dont want to lie to get free stuff. Its my C8, the antennas are gone. I have lots of this stuff because I eval things for production in other companies. This is my own little project.

Good luck with your project. If it works out I’m sure others would like to hear more about it:

Ive considered it. The c7 is in a Flint and has been cool to take control of hotels and ABnBs New build makes it a Fi-Cellular wifi6 AIO unit. The C8pro has been very solid. Quality. Thanks for all the work.
