[Bug Report] Renaming Hub Variable Creates Error in Motion Lighting

I can recreate the following error.

  1. Use a boolean hub variable in ML to disable on and/or off
  2. Rename that hub variable
  3. Go back to that ML instance and you will not be able to open the child app
  4. You will get "Error: Cannot get property 'value' on null object

Workaround is to rename the hub variable back to its original form, remove it from the ML instance, change the hub var name, and then add it back to ML.

Hope this helps somebody. Not a biggie.

Motion Lighting is no longer under active development. You can import any Motion Lighting instance into Room Lighting and get the same functionality from the resulting instance of Room Lights. Room Lights does not have this problem with renamed variables.
