You need to insulate your basement. 
It was cold here last night here in mid-Michigan too, low single digits.
Preemptive move. It was going to end up here anyway

ya basement is unfinished,, just wine storage.. and concrete walls.. good temps for wine storage all year, the cold temps are on the door to the hatch outside etc.. and the hatch itself.. and the sensor on the dog wire transmitter near that door (it is a light sensor, that alerts me if the underground dog fence wire is broken and the light turns off)
