So what’s the fix for broken zwave even after multiple reboots?
Reboot, or shutdown, pull the power cord, wait 30 seconds, and power up again?
These do two different things. You need to do the second procedure.
reboots are not the primary solution to "broken zwave".
Try a power cycle... Shutdown from the settings menu, wait for the RED LED and then unplug the hub for 10 seconds. Power it up and check.
Is the "broken Z-Wave" the result of a cloud backup failure? If the Z-Wave is unresponsive following a cloud backup failure, power cycling the hub should restore functionality as described in above post. This is a known issue that has been resolved in the next update, that is currently live on the beta channel.
If the Z-Wave is "broken" not as result of a backup failure, or the cloud backup is consistently failing, you may be dealing with a hardware malfunction or something within your Z-Wave mesh is causing the issue.
