Bond Ceiling Fan

Before switching to Hubitat my Bond enabled ceiling fans were integrated straight to Alexa and I was able to verbally set the speeds (from 1 to 6) by saying, "set (fan name) to (number 1-6) and it worked no problem.

Now integrated into Hubitat and using the Alexa skill it no longer works, I have to use low, medium-low, medium, etc.

I can't remember all the speeds outside of low, medium and high...

Is there a way to change something and get it back to working with the numbers 1-6?

I don't use Alexa, but with the Google Home app, I can set up a routine ala "When I say [deisred command phrase], then do [whatever XYZ action with ABC device]" -- I gotta think Alexa has some similar option.

I think that may actually work, mostly.

There is a problem with Alexa not recognizing very-low (1) as a speed. Lowest I can do that way is 2. Alexa doesn't recognize many other available commands either...

Can I make virtual buttons or something in Hubitat that can be triggered by voice commands to Alexa?

Hate Alexa and wanted to get away from it as much as possible, but since any voice commands top working during an internet outage I guess it doesn't matter if I have to do this the hard way.

A virtual dimmer shared with Alexa would provide a single device to get the speed info from Alexa to Hubitat. In the Alexa routine for "fan very low" set the dimmer to 10, for example, and then have a rule that subscribes to the virtual dimmer changing to 10 to set the fan on very low. Assign a dim level to each speed in an Alexa routine for each speed command, and use multiple rules in Hubitat to receive the dim level and set the fan to the speed that corresponds to that dim level sent from Alexa via the virtual dimmer.
