Last week, added a new Bond Bridge through the built in Bond Integration. Everything worked perfectly.
After the recent update, the Bond Bridge and Shades are showing in Devices but the Open/Close commands do not work and the Current State is inaccurate.
The Bond Bridge (192.168.4.53) is in the same subnet as Hubitat (192.168.4.51) and both have reserved IPs.
The Bond Bridge (192.168.4.53) is pingable from Hubitat and other devices.
Removal and Restart:
- Removed each shade from Devices manually
- Then manually removed the Bond Device
- Finally removed the Bond Integration
- Unplugged Bond Bridge and Hubitat for 1 minute
- Plugged back in and let them both reboot
Adding Bond Bridge:
- Added a new Bond Integration for the Bond Bridge in Apps
- In Bond Integration, (192.168.4.53) showed up in the drop down menu of Bond devices
- Added (192.168.4.53) as a Bond Device
- The 7 shades auto populated under Bond Devices in Devices
Problem:
The shades State (open/close) is not accurate and the shades do not respond to the open or closed commands from Hubitat.
The shades open and close on demand from HomeKit, HomeBridge and the Bond App.
Eero does not support or have the option for mDNS. UPnP is available and currently turned on. The lack of mDNS support seems an unlikely cause for Bond Bridge not receiving command from Hubitat.
