Ive had a simple automation which has worked flawlessly for many years. I have 3 zigbee blind motors which open at sunrise and close at sunset. Last week i noticed they all didn't open at sunrise but still closed at sunset. I didnt change anything to see if it would start working but still having the same issue.
I deleted the rule and re-created it but im still the same, closing at sunset but not opening at sunrise
Anyone else have the same problem since the latest public update ?
Have you tried changing the Open at Sunrise part, adding a small offset to see if that changes anything?
Post a screen-shot of your rule...it's probably fine since it has been working, but can't hurt troubleshooting to get a look at it.
Make sure logging is enabled for the rule. Make a temporary change to have it run while you're watching, and see if it does run, and post logs from it.
Last time I saw that issue, doing a reboot with a database restore advanced option checked resolved the issue. This will resolve database corruption issues that can happen sometimes, especially if the hub lost power.
Thanks both, Didn't change anything in the end as i noticed there was a new beta firmware available. Updated to it and it seems to have fixed the issue and they are working fine now.
Likely the reboot that the FW update included was the key part of the fix, but this is definitely one of those "I'll take it!" magic fixes.
