Black Lutron Pico reset issue

So came into possession of a black Lutron Pico a while back and now just playing. I know it was connected to a switch for a bit so wanting to reset it. The issue is I'm unsure if I'm resetting it right (bottom tap 3 times, hold for 6 seconds or so and press 3 more times).
See, this Pico does not have an LED on it and it's hard to tell what's going on... Anyone deal with these?

Again i know it was paired prior but it's not pairing to my current hub and I believe it's because I'm not resetting correctly... Also put in fresh battery

never seen one without an LED.
what's the model number printed on the back?

PJ-3BRL

When I popped the case to replace the battery I confirmed there was no led and there isn't an led hole in the case where one should be.

Here are instructions i found online. https://www.1000bulbs.com/pdf/lutron-pj-3brl-gwh-i01-instructions.pdf

Right, thanx. Same procedure I've been following but no real way to know that it's reset without the LED.

Although I wonder now looking if this is a Maestro only Pico..

I think you’re correct. Looking at the instructions I read, it says for maestro wireless.

Yeah, that's where i was going with it....

Hmm that’s weird. There are Picos that communicate only with Maestro dimmers but not the other Lutron product lines?

FWIW the instructions linked above imply that other systems can control Picos, just that this particular set of instructions is for pairing to a maestro system. It doesn’t state the pico device itself is maestro-only.

So just got off the phone with Lutron. It's an older pico but works with caseta, ra2 and maestro. The key is that it's a 4 button push reset not the 3... There is definitely no LED.
