Looking for open/close sensors in black. Should be wireless, top of door style. So far I am only finding white ones. Suggestions?
rattle can
Yeah as @velvetfoot suggests, just paint them. I use Plastikote acrylic paint for stuff like that - ceiling speaker grills, intruder alarm PIR's and contacts or anything that's yellowed due to UV I've used white. It's touch dry and ready for a second coat in 10 minutes.
Buy a can of Krylon Fusion.
Get an Aerotec sensor that fits in the door -- Aeotec Recessed Door Sensor 7 Then paint the magnet portion.
Definitely spray paint! I haven't done it yet, but I plan on doing this to all my sensors. Look up critter spray. It's an attachment for any mason jar. It's not the best spray quality (like I wouldn't use it to spray paint furniture/doors with it), but it's a lot easier to clean and use than a typical paint sprayer and is perfect for quick jobs like spray painting vent covers or these sensors. I like matching colors exactly and this is a quick easy way to do it with paint you already have.
Any made for plastic spray paint will work. Krylon, Rustolium etc... Just make sure you prep it right. I would recommend using rubbing alchohol prior to spraying as it will help clean up any oils on it as well as most dirt.
It's not black, but it's not white either... how about brown?
Ecolink Z-Wave Plus Door Window Contact Sensor (DWZWAVE2.5-ECO)
I use one of these on a stained wood door.
I just bought three different zigbee black contact sensors.
All of them work fine,
One is smaller but uses a button battery which I suspect life will be shorter.

And yes, theyโre much more discreet.
