I kept missing restocks on a piece of UniFi gear, so I built a Hubitat app to watch for it. It turned into something more general, so I'm sharing it.
Restock Manager watches store product pages, or any web page, and notifies you when something is back in stock, under your price, or when text on a page appears or disappears.
BETA: tested on my setup. Expect rough edges and please report anything you find.
It only reads pages and alerts you. It never adds anything to a cart or buys anything.
What it does
- Product stock & price: reads the product data most stores publish for search engines. Alerts when the item is in stock at or below your max price.
- Text on any page: alerts when a phrase appears (e.g. "Registration is open") or disappears (e.g. "Sold Out").
- Verify link & read info: paste a link, press one button, and it reads the page and fills in the name, SKU and current price for you. Change any of them to override.
- Per-item notifications: push devices, speech on speakers, and/or switches to turn on (handy for Rule Machine).
- Your own message wording with variables:
%name%,%price%,%status%,%text%,%url%,%time%. - One alert, not a flood: one alert when it comes in stock, nothing more until it sells out and comes back.
- Optional extras: a message when it sells out again, and alerts when the price drops further.
- In-stock reminders in case you didn't get to it right away:
- a daily reminder time for everything, plus
- per-item reminders every 5 minutes up to every 12 hours.
- Every reminder re-checks the page first, so you're only reminded about things that are still in stock.
- Test button that follows your rules: it checks the page now and sends exactly what you'd get, whether that's the in-stock message or an out-of-stock notice.
- Status at a glance in the item list, e.g.
UPS 2U Pro — Out of stock $679.00. - Block and CAPTCHA pages count as failed checks, not changes, so you don't get false alerts.
Install
HPM (recommended): Install → Search by Keywords → Restock Manager, then Apps → Add User App → Restock Manager.
Manual: add both apps from GitHub in Apps Code (Restock Manager and Restock Manager Item), then Apps → Add User App → Restock Manager.

Limitations
- Some big retailers block automated requests (Amazon, Walmart, often Best Buy). Verify tells you up front if a site refuses the hub.
- Pages that build their content with JavaScript after loading may not show stock info to the hub.
- Please keep check intervals reasonable. Hammering a store every few minutes for weeks is a good way to get your IP blocked.
Feedback
If a store doesn't work, post the link (and any log lines). Many can be supported, or watched with a text check instead. Feature ideas welcome too.
