Would multi device grouping (ie if one sensors smoke, all detectors active) be available with this app

To be honest, I am not quite sure how this 'Linkage Alarm' preference works ... I have only one Aqara smoke detector, so I am unable to test.

Just tested the Buzz command again, and it works (use Mute to stop it), so in the case the devices do not use Zigbee Group Messaging to broadcast to activate the alarms on all other Aqara smoke detectors (without the HE hub), it won't be difficult to activate all alarms buzzers using a RM5 rule.

Mmmm
May have to order a couple and find out
Thank you

Have in mind, that the Aqara Smart Smoke Detectors may not fully complain with AS 3786:2023 standards in Australia.

I was just thinking of having these smoke detectors as a backup to our current hard wired smoke detectors (not interconnected but approved)

Two aqara smoke detectors have arrived and installed with @kkossev excellent driver.
All functions are working on each detectors except the linkage alarm which I have enabled but communication between them isn't successful.

As mentioned earlier, a rule based event as each detector has the "buzz" function which will trigger the alarm on each detector and mute to disable.
Thank you... again @kkossev great work!

Having trouble with RM to activate the second smoke detector from the detector registering smoke, as I cannot find a way or option to "buzz" each detector. Have tried with a Virtual device
To be fair, I'm a newbie with RM
Can anyone offer a lead to pursue
Thank you

You mist use a 'Custom Action' in RM5 :

Excellent Lead..
Thank you

Edit: and working
Smoke alarm linkage
Smoke alarm test
Smoke alarm refresh

Thanks for the driver :+1:

The "buzz" command doesn't seem to work for me. I'm wondering if I haven't configured something properly? Here's an extract from my logs

I just tested mine, 'Buz' and 'Mute' commands are working as expected, and the buzzer can be activated and stopped.

Have you tested the alarm with real smoke?
There is no explicit configuration to enable or disable this function. All the configuration commands are sent during the initial pairing of the device. Was this driver installed in advance and picked up automatically during the initial pairing?

If not - you can try pairing the smoke detector again to your HE hub (without deleting it).

Yeah, self test works fine, and the alarm goes off with real smoke, but Buzz doesn't work for me. I removed it and re-added it a couple of times but it just isn't doing anything with the buzz command. Really odd. I wonder if there's been a firmware upgrade between yours and mine that disables remote triggering of that function?
