I can't remember what I did yesterday. I know that I like Hubitat, but I can't remember why.

It's funny .. I can remember every word of a song that I heard a few times in 1962. But ask me what day it is, and I have to double check with my phone.

My vision is most annoying part of getting old.
Used to be a higher-up lady at work that would come around for demos and we called her the black widow because she was wearing glasses and had 3 more pairs on top of her head...I'm getting there.

I had unmonitored high blood pressure which blew a bunch of blood vessels in my left eye making that eye just for looks. This was my good eye. Now I find out I am getting a cataract in my other eye. Could be blind if I leave it alone and could be blind if the surgery isn’t successful. My wife had both eyes done, and had to get scar tissue taken care of.
Such a great summary of my day.

I feel I can't claim I'm "old" until I get up near my parents ages (my mom passed at 92, dad still chugging along at 92), but am willing to admit to "being older."

This is where comedians help with understanding "normal".
One comedian told a story of how when he is watching TV movie for over an hour, switches away during a long commercial break, but forgets what he was watching just before the switch.
And I thought..... OK, I guess I'm not the only one.

I am so old, that I have some of these on the same shelf with the 2 Gig backup drives.
What am I bid for these mint condition relics of a long-forgotten age?

Ah the punch cards.
In the 3rd grade a kid brought in a stack of these and handed them out. He ran out but I got one. Took it home and showed my father this new technology. The next night he comes home from work with a long box full of these. I brought half into school the next day but nobody wanted any. 
Don't get me started, or I'll pull out my IBM 360 green card, or PDP 8 handbook, or my COBOL programs, or my 64K expansion memory for TRS-80, or my 8" floppies, or my Grace Hopper nanosecond, or my first home computer that had 256 bytes of memory, or ..

A group of guys, all aged about 40, discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the waitresses there were pretty.
Ten years later, at age 50, the friends once again discussed where they should meet for lunch.
Finally it was agreed they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the food was good and the wine selection was excellent.
Ten years later, at age 60, the friends again discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because they could dine in peace and quiet and the restaurant had a beautiful view of the ocean.
Ten years later, at age 70, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because the restaurant was wheelchair accessible and had an elevator.
Ten years later, at age 80, the friends discussed where they should meet for lunch. Finally it was agreed they would meet at the Ocean View restaurant because they had never been there before.
