Before I throw money in the pit - Can you let me know if my many devices are compatible before I purchase a hubitat please?

Hi,

Looking to get a hubitat as am fed up with ST removing groovy and device compatibility is sketchy now.
Currently I have a few separate hubs as well and looking to combine them up into a single hub so if someone could let me know if I can use the following devices on one Hubitat hub (mainly the Xiaomi/Aqara, ST and Hive products) it would be much appreciated please:

Xiaomi Mi Control hub - looks like most of the Xiaomi devices have a driver
Xiaomi round button
Xiaomi Honeywell smoke alarm - not sure this is compatible?
Aqara motion sensor
Xiaomi motion sensor
single light switch (no neutral)
double light switch (no neutral)
wireless double light switch
Camera hub
Roborock S5 robot vacuum
Xiaomi door and window sensor
Xiaomi temperature sensor
Xiaomi Mi robot vacuum

ST Hub
ST window/door contact sensor
ST motion sensor
ST UK plug
ST Presence sensor

Welink Wifi plug

Tapo P110 Wifi plug

Meross WiFi garage door opener

Hive
Hive active heating v2
Hive TRV radiator valves

Google next doorbell

The list of compatible devices can be found here:

https://docs2.hubitat.com/devices/list-of-compatible-devices

It also links to some of the available community device integrations.

I found some info on the Meross stuff helping someone else so I came back here to post it. Its a user created driver with minimal documentation but it does support garage door openers.

Thanks that's really useful but unfortunately the aqara/Xiaomi devices and hive are not listed on there ;/

Thanks!

Thanks, I tried to search but couldn't find them all. In particular the ones you have listed as no or with ?
Also why would I need to use IKEA repeaters and what are they please?

They will work with the generic drivers. The reason ikea repeaters are recommended is because a lot of Xiaomi stuff isn't 100% fully zigbee compliant and falls off the mesh. The ikea repeaters seem to stabilize them.

The compatibility chart is a good place to start but a lot of things not on that list work just fine. Searching the forum for your particular models is a good way to find out whats up with it.

You might find this page from the hub documentation helpful to understand a little more about how zigbee’s mesh topology works.

Thanks everyone, much appreciated and it looks like I'll get a HE hub soon. Support from this community is amazing!

Is this the IKEA repeater people are suggesting?

Thanks everyone, have just purchased from Vesternet for £122 using code SETUPEDIA and it comes with a leak sensor and temp sensor.
Looking forward to setting this up and tidying up all of my home automation!

For europe, you can't beat zigbee prices on aliexpress.com . Especially TUYA zigbee.

Are 868mhz devices available on HE?

Zigbee, z-wave (in several countries) , some wifi natively (as long as it's local and not cloud based). There are lots of integrations and as long as an open API is available one can be written for just about anything.

Z-wave operates at 868 MHz in the EU.
