Battery Checkup

Hello All,

I know we have discussed this before but I wanted to see if any new ideas have come out regarding a mechanism to check battery levels via a voice command or virtual button/dashboard etc or alert when a battery level is under a defined threshold?

Did you look into Device Watchdog? I have it setup to send a pushover notification when battery levels are below a certain threshold.

I actually just setup a custom HSM alert for this.

I have a battery level dashboard showing the level on all battery devices at one glance.

If you wanted to use a voice assistant you could use Google -> IFTTT -> Webhooks -> Custom HE App (not yet written) -> speaker output

The custom app would check battery levels on some devices and speak out the lowest or that everything was okay or something. I might setup that app some time. My wife asked about something like it once.
