Ive noticed lately my Away Mode automations are not taking place. I looked at the logs and the commands take place on the hub when everyone has left the house. I just dont see the automations occurring. I just see the modes changing from Home to Away. I dont see the lights turning OFF or the thermostat turning to OFF.

I go into the App section and click the RUN button and it completes the automations.

Not sure if this has anything to do with the last 2 updates. I just noticed this.

Try enabling logging for one of the automations to catch the failure. Post the logs along with the automation setup (whether that's room lighting, RM, etc.).

the logs indicate the Automation is triggering. However the devices are not completing the automation.

I created a seperate automation that executed on Mode change instead of presence. When Mode changed to Away it would send the command for devices. I'm getting the same response where devices won't execute.

So in looking in device history. I see the command prompt (either turn off the switch or lock the door lock). However there is no execution. This is consistent in both automations whether by Presence or by Mode Change

I then tested by going to dashboard if I can manually switch On or Off and Lock and Unlock. I've also openned the automation to RUN the automation and everything executes fine. Certainly ODD.

I spent the last hour on/off my automations and confirmed that for example my door lock is NOT executing to LOCK on the automation. I have to run the automation at least 2 or 3 times in order for the door lock to execute on the automation.

When I am on the dashboard. I can Unlock and Lock the Doorlock without any problems.

The same issue is with my thermostat and switch to the waterfall although not as consistent as the Doorlock.

On the Doorlock it Unlocks on the Arrival Automation with No problem at all. On the Away automation it won't lock on 1st command. I have to run the automation 2 or 3 times consecutively in order for the Doorlock to Lock. As I said...on the Dashboard I have no problem Unlock or Lock for the Doorlock. It's only on the Away automation.

That's a lot of things being changed at once. I imagine you're flooding the Z-Wave network so devices are missing commands. I would break this up into different rules or use other apps to control some things. Like the lights...you can put them into a Room Lighting instance, add an activator device (just fill out the name in the box at the bottom of the app page) and just turn the activator device off in the basic rule.

It's just odd. It used to work absolutely fine until the last couple of weeks....

Something is definitely not right. I made some changes to the AWAY automation to where only the Thermostat, Waterfall switch, DoorLock, and Mode to AWAY.
Only 3 physical switches. I eliminated ALL my other switches in the automation.

Doorlock fails to LOCK and Waterfall switch fails to turn OFF.

Pretty consistent. This was to test out your theory of too many things happening to the Zwave network at once.

Again I Ran the Automation a 2nd time just now.
The Doorlock LOCKS and Waterfall Switch turns OFF now....

so something is going on here
