Awair App/Driver to change settings?

I found an app and driver to retrieve data from Awair Elements via the Awair developer API, but it does not allow for configuring the Awair device (i.e., changing brightness or display data). The developer said they planned on adding those features, but it looks like it didn't make it to the current code.

Does anyone know of an Awair app/driver that allows changes (or know how I can mod the code to add that feature)? I changed the displays on my Elements via a SmartThings device handler and would like to do the same now that I have moved to HE.
