Anyone in this group utilizing any of these. I find this particularly interesting although I’m not sure if it’s worth the price tag when I have 22 windows across my home. I could see a use case however to open windows to allow a cross breeze based on temp, humidity, and wind speeds taken from a weather station.
They are bluetooth, there’s no direct integration for this product with hubitat.
With that i do open/close a casement window and skylight over zwave w/ hubitat. I think the concept is totally worth it, but this particular product…. not so much.
To add, but at 670 bux, that is really stupid money.
Agreed. I’ve got 5 of their tilt blind openers. The product itself works fine but can’t be integrated with Hubitat which has been a source of frustration. It’s really only good as a stand alone device working in isolation via its app.
True but there aren’t really many devices I can think of that do what it claims. In addition to the main open/close function, the product videos say it can lock the window in an open/closed position, it won’t crush an obstruction while closing but will alarm if someone tries to force the window open. And it’s meant to be a quick retrofit (for the window types it’s compatible with).
So it’s expensive but for someone that’s not as interested in other options that probably require a more DIY approach or won’t replicate all the features, it might still be worth it.
Shame it’s Bluetooth-only.
These are Zigbee
Is anyone using these with HE?
If you have tip out windows they would work but I a custom driver would likely need to be written.
Thank you .... I just wish I was smart enough to be able to write a custom diver
I was hoping someone had already done this is or trying to for the Yale Aeron motors.
How do you automate a casement window???
From their web site:
If it's zigbee should pair fine. The issue is the driver.
@inetjnky
There are others for tilt out... Tuya is pretty common... @kkossev 's driver should work with this..
Here
I didn't see any information on the radio but I didn't dive in too far.
The Z is for zigbee

Thanks, my windows don’t tilt. Just came across this and thought it was interesting since my windows slide open and closed like this product.
Are they crank style windows? That’s what I have, and am really looking forward to one day finding a solution that allows us to automate them…
That solution will need to look nice, be practical and not be too expensive…
I have two crank style windows on either side of my bay window in the living room but the rest of the house the windows slide up and down to open and close.
