Check the link I sent you I from @bjcowles. I am 99% sure he requested a firmware downgrade from August to get his lock working reliably with Hubitat.

There was a firmware update last year that really screwed-up the z-wave functionality. Many, including myself, have contacted August and had a firmware downgrade pushed to them which solved the issue. If you care to try, just explain that you don't want to purchase a connect wifi bridge, you want the z-wave functionality the lock is supposed to have.

That's your primary problem. 1.13.2 has z-wave issues. Have August downgrade them to 1.8.15 per aaiyar.

After much back and forth, I FINALLY got AUGUST to downgrade my lock today and as you all said, that solved the problem. Everyone kept saying it was a distance issue....not the case. The lock (I'm using the RELIABLE virtual driver) locks and unlocks every time now that I am not using the latest firmware (which is sad when you think about it)...THANKS EVERYONE!!

Glad to hear your problems were resolved! It is unfortunate that August is getting out of z-wave. Personally, I've never really felt comfortable with C2C lock integrations so the August Pro will be my last August product.
