Those red fields have a * (splat), but there is no subnote to identify these by saying "required field".

That is not a bad idea. I originally just relied on the Hubitat marking required (which is the asterisk after them). Then I started highlighting mine with red. Putting "Required" in there somewhere cannot hurt.

Not going to post an update specifically to include it, but I already made changes to add REQUIRED at the beginning of Preferences that will be required. I also noticed that the LogType was marked as required, but it is not... so I fixed that.
