Assigning text to buttons on NX1000

I did a soft reset on my C7 and am now getting my devices reconnected. Today I successfully paired the NX1000 to the C7 but now I don't see it listed in devices or am able to assign text to the buttons. I suspect I need to add a device driver but have been unable to locate one. Anyone know where I can download the driver?

If you can't see it in Devices, I think that's a different issue. Regardless, there is a system driver available, no download required. (I think there is a user driver available, but -IIRC- it was created before the system driver was available, and I don't think it offers any noteworthy additional functionality.)

I agree.

How do you know the device is successfully paired to the hub if it doesn’t show up in the list of connected devices?

Ok it is listed in Devices with a different name than I expected. Is there a link to documentation which explains how to set the text on the buttons?

I successfully created a rule when button 1 is pressed to then perform an action but is this the proper way to configure actions for the buttons? I ask because this method would require a rule for each button.

It's been too long, but I think you have to set them one-by-one using the preferences then hit configure very quickly while the device is awake.

This device has popped up on the forum on occasion, so you may search around.

I use rules for all my buttons, but I have specific reasons I choose to do so. The other method is to use Button Controller, I believe.

Ah ok... didn't see the Button Controller option. Will give this a try.
