Are these the iris contact sensors with temperature sensors?

I believe those are version one's. They have their challenges. But yes, they report temperature

Try these. $5 each if you buy 10 (does not include magnets)

You can find them for about $15-$20 each as a complete set.

Challenges?

These have more of a tendency to drop off than other sensors. I think it's gotten better and I have a few of them in unimportant windows that I haven't checked in a long time (reminding me that I should do that)
Also, be aware that some have older firmware and make them less compatible/stable. Since Iris is no more, there is no way to update them either. Keep in mind that HE made these work, but that doesn't mean that they work well or are 100% reliable. There are no guarantees with these.
BUT
Do people have good luck with these? Generally, yes. Just know what you're getting with these.

Actually, I believe that those are the V3 (IL06_1) sensors. I have quite a few of those and they have been rock solid. I have all three of the Iris sensors, the V1, the 3320, and the IL06. The IL06 have been the most reliable for me, with the other two having their own issues. The V1's are about as non-standard as they get, but since resolving my mesh issues they've been pretty rock solid. The 3320's had a reputation for breaking the battery contacts, although I've never experienced that issue.

I can never tell them apart. Good comparison. I've only seen complaints about the v1's

The complaints on the V2's were when they first came out, never bought enough to have run into the issues. Functionally, they've been as solid as the rest. In my mind, the V1's look dated, the V2's look flimsy, and the V3's look solid. Purely a perception thing.

When in doubt, just look at the model #, it’s in the listing.

Those are the devices generally referred to as gen 3 or v3.

IMHO no one should ever purchase Iris v1 sensors. Former iris users that already had them can make them function with hubitat, rather than replace all of them. But it makes no sense to buy them now.

So reccomended?

I would recommend either the V2 or V3, and agree with April on the Gen1/V1 Iris sensors.

3 iris contact sensors for 28 bucks? Sure I would buy them if I couldn’t find a bigger lot at a lower cost per unit.

He sent me an offer, 3 for $25, I bit

Just purchased a 3 pack of V3’s myself. Could use a few more and tired of paying $20 each for the Samsung sensors.

He has another 3 for $25.99
