Are there Gen 7 (Z-Wave 700 series) Issues with Hubitat?

Not really sure where to post this...

I am not a Habitat owner...Used ST for years and moved over to Homeseer so things would run locally. In general, I think HS4 is pretty good, though I do get frustrated with the lack of logic switches like "if" not being available except in the trigger part of rules.

Anyway...

The generation 7 supporting HS zwave interfaces have issues with delays and failures. They are working with the vender...Silicon Labs to resolve it...but the new interfaces have been out for almost a year with no real update.

Someone posted the firmware is the same in Habitat's hub.

Are there issues with Gen 7 and Habitat as well? If nothing else battery life is awesome with the Gen 7 stuff...one of my biggest complaints with prior devices.

I certainly would not be looking forward to recreating a couple hundred event/rules, but want the speed, reach, and battery life of the newer Gen 7 stuff.

Thanks!

Tom

There are issues specific to the 700 series chipset that affect some users, yes.

Whether you’d have a better or worse experience with respect to z-wave using Hubitat vs. Homeseer is probably a little hard to predict.

But I don't have many z-wave devices, so I’m not the best person to comment further on any specifics.
