They are not on the Compatible Devices list. I have a door sensor from them and it does not seem to work using the Generic driver.
The device comes up as lumi.sensor_magnet.aq2
Officially no, as you found. However, a search for your model number will reveal a few community derivers you can try if you want:

Also, one of those search results will be a thread about Xiaomi/Aqara devices and how to keep them paired. This is a good read, as most are not standard Zigbee devices and are prone to "falling off" your network if you aren't careful about how you build it.
