The generic component doesn’t do any math, I fixed the issue in the zigbee version driver, I’ll see what’s going on on the matter side.
@mike.maxwell thank you. Which driver did you fix originally and I am guessing since iam bringing it in on matter I can't use that one?
I fixed the Zigbee driver, the matter issue is different
This matter issue should release in the next 2.4.0 beta
Thank you very much. I will keep an eye out for the next platform release. I am assuming the next platform update is what you mean will have the fix? I don't do the beta testing since I only have the one hub. I wait for the official release.
@mike.maxwell just some info the problem seems to be happening on the matter driver when the temp gets into them ow 30's and stays there for a little while. When them temp climbs back into the upper 30's and 40's the temp reverts back to the normal temp.
Mine was off then raised into those temps and been ok since yesterday.
The matter fix will be in the next 2.4.0 beta
Awesome, thank you so much for the follow up.
Glad to know i'm not the onyl one experiecing this issue, I just got 3 Aquara temp & humidity sensors and anytime it drops below 0C it tells me my unheated garage is 650C.
eagerly awaiting the update.
Thanks for looking into it @mike.maxwell -- it's fixed now!
Hi,
I still receive incorrect values, however this issue seems to be quite a bit different.
The device usually report correct values, but sometimes things go awry, and I receive a temperature value of -100 (Celsius), and/or 654% RH.
It happened twice in the last 48 hours, but I haven't experienced it before. Nothing has changed in the setup since then.
This is what I see in the events:
No errors logged for that device, and the battery was replaced a few weeks ago.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Which device type/integration is this?
It's a zigbee "lumi.weather" device (WSDCGQ11LM) with the built-in "Aqara Zigbee Weather Sensor" driver on a C-7 hub (fw 2.4.0.143)
I'll have something to handle this in release 2.4.1
awesome, thanks!
