I don't see any Prefs setting for temp granularity reporting.
It seems to report every 0.5 C?
Is there a way of tweaking the code to report a finer change, say 0.2/3 degrees?
I know it's not your driver but maybe just a quick thought? 
I don’t believe so. 0.5C seems to be the hardware limited temp reporting threshold. For relative humidity, it seems to be 5%.
These drivers were written many years ago. If your specific Aqara device (which one is it? there are several different Aqara temperature sensors…) supports temperature threshold configuration, it should already be implemented in the driver.
Device doesn't seem to have a number but it's the square Humidity/Temp sensor not the old round one.
There is temp resolution but that's just a display I imagine.
Anyway, no worries, just a query.
