Aqara T1 lux sensor - any suitable drivers?

I got a new Aqara T1 lux sensor from a different seller, and it does not work with the driver “Tuya Temperature Humidity Illuminance LCD Display with a Clock” (which worked for my other Aqara T1 lux sensor bought from another seller).

The device page of the new sensor shows “clusters”, which are not present in the working sensor. Has anyone seen this before?

Hi Jun,

The most effective way for me to find information about a specific Zigbee device is to search the forum for the device Zigbee model or manufacturer. For Tuya devices, the unique identifier is the Zigbee Manufacturer. For all other brands (including Aqara), the unique identifier is the Zigbee Model.

In your case, the model is "lumi.sen_ill.agl01" :

Note that after you find and install a suitable driver, and after you manually change the device driver, in many cases, you may need to pair the device once again to your hub (without deleting it). This is especially true for Tuya and Aqara battery-powered sensors.

thank you. i suspect an issue with the hardware. none of the drivers showed illuminance when used with the new lux sensors i got. even after repeated pairing (without deleting it)

It's unlikely to be a hardware issue... Please check the Hubitat forum Search results for "lumi.sen_ill.agl01". The Tuya driver referred to in the first post is not the correct one.

Aqara devices are often difficult to pair and stay connected....
Install the Aqara P1 driver and then try pairing it at a close distance to your hub. You may need to periodically push the pairing button on the device, until the HE pairing finishes successfuly.

If it still doesn't report the illuminance automatically, delete the device from HE, remove the battery and wait 30-40 seconds before reinserting back the battery. Then try pairing again as a new device at a close distance to the hub.

thank you. i tried Aqara P1 driver again, and kept repeated pairing it after seeing your post (your words carry weight - have been relying on your posts and drivers since i started using HE), and it worked for the 2 new sensors i got.

for some reason, the Tuya driver worked for my 1st sensor (but not for the other 2)… all 3 are Aqara T1 lux sensors. that’s pretty odd but i shall not touch what is not broken.
