It is a way to power a dashboard tablet without wires, by putting it over a switch outlet, which I think is what they are talking about. However, then the switch becomes digital.
That removes the whole concept of having a totally physical switch that has no reliance on a digital signal for control. You could just put a Shelly or other relay in the box behind a regular tablet dashboard to do the same thing, and then put a tile on the dashboard for that light switch.
