Aqara Cube - Lost

I am having a hard time keep the Cube discovered. I have two of them and they work for a few hours and then eventually stop responding. I am pretty sure that I am using the correct driver and have it set to 36. Both of them do the same thing

Aqara and Mijia devices do not adhere to ZHA 1.2 standards. They are notoriously picky about which zigbee repeaters/routers they will work with (they work with a subset of ZHA 1.2-compliant zigbee routers, and most zigbee 3.0 routers).

The behavior you describe (falling off the network) is anticipated unless all the zigbee routers in your network are Aqara-compatible.

any recommendations or just give up and send back. Looking for some type of remote. I am using x10 remotes for now but would like to find something similar to the cube. Pretty cool concept.

Almost all the remotes I use are Pico remotes. I also three Aeon Labs (Aeotec) z-wave minimotes. On the zigbee side, the RGBGenie button controller is natively supported by Hubitat.

Are the Xbees compatible to the Aqara

They are. Just keep in mind that all your zigbee routers have to be Aqara compatible. That means every single thing that is line voltage powered (except Sengled bulbs and outlets, which don't repeat).

Mine has stayed connected since I bought it almost 2 yrs back. I guess it's connected directly to the hub since it's quite close. I do use IKEA repeaters and these are compatible with the Aqara gear, so maybe that's helped.

Those repeaters are not available in the US that I can find

They are. Here's a link:

These Tuya repeaters also work well.

The key thing to keep in mind is that ALL your line-powered devices function as repeaters (except Sengled products). And all repeaters need to be Xiaomi compatible for those Aqara devices to be relatively stable with Hubitat.

Thanks Ikea does not work. You cn add them to your cart and put in a zipcode........does not work. They say they will not ship. Going to try Alli but it looks like those are for non US markets since they cot the stick plug

Weird - I just bought 9 of those 3 weeks ago.

We don't have an Ikea in Albuquerque and maybe that is it.
