The Append to File action:
- only allows selecting an existing file, which implies one has to go create an empty file and upload it prior to using this action. Notifications app does allow specifying an arbitrary file name, but not select from a list, a tradeoff I personally prefer. Having the ability to supply a string for the file name would enable a Rule Function to use it.
- presents the file list in seemingly arbitrary order, making a particular file hard to find if there are many. Can a filter be added to the list box ?
