Anyone working on Ember self-heating cup integration?

I am getting a Electronic self-heating 14 oz cup, and I am curious whether anyone is working on a Hubitat driver for it.

I believe they have an API. THE ember works over Bluetooth.

Any rumors?

They have an API but there are a couple points:

  1. They do not make it publicly available. There is a project where someone reverse-engineered it.
  2. It is using Bluetooth so there is no way for the Hubitat to talk to it directly. Any method would have to go through something else first... so there is no real way to make a direct integration.

I believe that someone developed an interface to Home Assistant, using Bluetooth. My HAis a Docker on my Synology NAS, that works fine with wi-fi based hardware, but I would need to add a bluetooth dongle, and the range would be more restricted.

Oh well, I guess the controls will have to remain on my iPhone, or iPad.
