When I set a password on my Shelly Plus 1, then enter it in the password field in the device page in Hubitat, I can't control it. Removing the password from both places makes it work. Has anyone here found a way to access a PW protected Shelly in Hubitat?
Dumb question, but does it really matter since it's just a local device?

Older Shelly devices use basic authentication, but Shelly Plus devices use digest authentication.
This likely means that you will need a newer custom driver (which may be true regardless to get all device functionally). I wrote one for personal use that I still need to release. There are a couple of others floating around on the forum.
One last thing to try- what are you setting as the username when you try to configure it with Hubitat? Be sure to try "admin" with the password that you entered.
