Anyone still using or maintaining Zooz Power Switch with States?

Anyone still using or maintaining Zooz Power Switch with States?
@erniemiller ? Thread was closed, so not sure.
If not, anyone else have a better (still maintained) way to have a device reflect the status of my dishwasher based on power readings?

If you also happen to have a good recommendation on how to determine what power levels reflect what state of the dishwasher, I'm all ears. I think I'm just supposed to chart the power and try to discern from that different states....

I still use it on my washing machine. Seems to be working fine.

I thought about switching to one of @jtp10181's drivers as they are more up to date and are maintained, but decided against it. It was a "if it ain't broke don't fix it thing.

But do they allow you to have the state like this in the driver?

No, another reason I didn't change. It would be a simple update to my RM rule. My washing machine only needs one state when power goes above a certain level. Just didn't want to change it, as it was working as is..

@terminal3 It does actually have an on/off accessory state, since this update linked below. It was inspired by the exact driver linked above by @JustinL. Looks like that driver above is a little more advanced though with multiple states other than on/off.

Ignore the part about ZEN04 Only, the ZEN15 was added after that.

Thanks. Looks like it will indeed do this looking at the driver, so could be a good option if only need two states (on/off).

Yeah I just edited my post above after I realized the one you linked to had multiple state options.
Same thing could be done easily with a Hub Variable and a Rule to adjust that variable based on the power.

You don't really need to chart it per-se, just run the different cycles and then watch the power readings. You can also check the event logs after it is done to see the different power readings.

That is why I said it didn't, as I gathered from his OP, he was looking at monitoring multiple states. I didn't notice that your driver had this option though. I might consider switching as it would make my RM rule update easier..

Heya, sorry. The driver I put together does what I built it to do, so I'm not sure there's more maintenance to be done. I haven't been hacking on Hubitat things since I got all of my needed devices set up, but if there's a specific need and I can re-ramp myself on what I put together before, I'm happy to see what's possible.

@erniemiller, could you answer the last question in the closed thread, re: what is the purpose or use case of the virtual switch that turns off after 500ms?

If I remember correctly I added that because the switch flipping was the only way I could hook up rule machine actions to the state.

Thank you. I guess since you wrote this, Hubitat implemented the ability to access custom attributes, such as the text Status.

Is there a way to turn off creation and use of the child virtual devices?
