Just got an EV (Mach E GT) and wondering if anyone here has figured out a way to capture charging data? The FordPass app has the data but there is no ability to export it. Also, if there are any useful "integrations" available.
Thereās a good integration for vehicles from Tesla, but Iām not aware of any for those from Ford or other legacy brands.

HA has a HACS integration, but it sounds like Ford might lock your account if you use it.

Yeah. Thereās threads on https://www.macheforum.com/ about this. Excessive api calls cause them to lock your account. I havenāt seen anything on that site about a successful way to use a third party app.

Looks like Ford has shut down access to the developer APIs - they are not issuing new credentials any longer 
. I signed up for the developer site but the only thing you can do is look at the API documentation.

I won't be surprised if they go to a "data for a fee" modelā¹ļø. Tesla has already done something like this for their vehicle data.
