I understand they have visible and color-adjustable indicator lights now?
Reliable?
Etc, etc.
I have a ZEN77 for my kitchen and it just works.. It was easy to include into my HE C5 (yea I know, old school HE Hub lol). Haven't had any physical/mechanical issues with it. I currently only use it for on/off as the light fixture that's on the switch is non-dimmable. Hope this helps.
Just works is always good.
My only complaint with the Zen76 (the switch) is that it can't be used on inductive loads, as it uses a solid state relay instead of a physical relay. No tube lights, fans, etc.
Innovelli's 2-in-1 switches are the same way, so it's not unique to Zooz, its just something to note.
Yes the lights can have the color adjusted. My custom driver has a built in command you can call from RM to set the color. I use it on two switches to show green when doors are locked and red when something in unlocked. Otherwise I just keep them all the default blue color.
I never have any issues with them.
That's good to know.
Multi colors would be cool.
LR would be cool.
Right now, not seeing any compelling reason to change from GE/Jasco, which have been performing well. And they click, lol. Although the LR siren's call is there as well...
Zen71 is the right tool for many fan applications. I use it for on/off of bath fan and scene control for smart ceiling fans.
And the 71 also has the different color lights.
The box doesn't say anything about S2, but it says LR.
The description says S2, 800 chip, and LR.
Confusing.
