What exactly is anti- Turn On ? I ask because this lamp is sometimes turning off when it's not supposed to. It's a Simple Lighting rule that turns on with motion, and turns off after 5 minutes of no motion. Coincidentally (or not), this is about the time the Iris Motion Sensor becomes unresponsive and requires a battery pull.
Do you have Only when illuminance is option set? Might be that your motion sensor is faulty and sending info that the illuminance is sufficient, even though it's not.
Negative:
It's pretty straightforward with no restrictions. Just an Iris sensor, so it's only sending motion + temperature.
Hmmm, still suspicious of any device I have to reset more than once. Do you have another motion sensor you can temporarily put in its place to see it the issue changes and the log entry "anti-Turn On" goes away?
I believe the log entry for "anti-Turn On" is simply the event that fired after 5 minutes of inactivity due to having "Turn Off when Motion Stops" enabled. It even happens almost exactly 5 minutes after the last Turn On event.
Yes, I was planning on replacing it with an Aeon Multisensor 6 and use usb. But that would likely be a permanent solution.
I thought maybe the Iris was a bad batch - I've had a few that ate through batteries - but it's not quite showing the same battery-drain signs as the others.
Yes, Anti-turn on would be Off. Just like anti-positive would be negative. Maybe simple lighting was written by a Brit (I'm thinking "anti-clockwise").
Thanks...but @ogiewon gets credit for this one....I just found it amusing. When I first read it I couldn't figure it out either.
EDIT: Solution modified from me to @ogiewon. and for the record...I didn't mark myself with the solution, it was @kilowatts. Don't want people thinking I'm trying to steal credit from the master. I'm definitely too old to begin the training.
