You should categorize the website
I’d already explored this, but given the category apps would fall in, it wasn’t worth it.
Wow !
You guys have done a wicked job here.
Congrats all round.
You've now set the 3rd party App bar very high.
Or is that the Hubitat crew, comin a knocking, with a licensing deal. LOL
I'm sure the HE guys have something much better in mind
Andy
FYI - the links for One to Many on the website don't work.
The links to copy don't work when adding the code, and the raw links give a 404.
So I went to github and just copied/pasted the v1.4 code. Hopefully that was the correct version. I assume it is, as it worked and the apps I created from it work great.
Thanks
I've noticed a couple still refer to the test site.
I'll have a look in the morning.
Andy
All the latest versions are on Github
Thanks for reporting. Fixed
This looks great. Well done, both of you.
As a user that never had any Cobra apps installed (just bought my HE this week), the container parent/child architecture + the new website were really VERY helpful.
I do hope long term that Hubitat adds a way to list the child-child apps directly on the Apps screen so you don't have to click on "One to Many" (for example) to see all of the user configured apps of that type.
But that is more a HE wish list item I guess.
Hey Andrew, I see you have a staff badge. Congrats buddy!!
Well deserved Mr. @Cobra sir...well deserved!
Now we wait for Cobra Apps to show up as built-in.
Nice. We now have an inside connect with @Cobra. Get them to add some sort of "include" command so we could share code between our apps. That way I don't have to update it in every app every time I make a change.
Gavin, that’s called a parent/child app
On a more serious note.
I do use a parent to hold data for multiple children and have been trying to find a way to put a large percentage of the code into Cobra Apps for use in each parent/child.
For example, all my child apps have a ‘restrictions’ page
I have just found a bug in my restrictions code which is the same in EVERY child app
This obviously means I’ll have to edit each child app and update them all on github.
Stupid typo in a variable!!
Andy
LOL
I don’t think that will happen for quite a while
Andy
All the best with your new role mate.
It's terrific that Hubitat's support and development has you on board
Thanks Nic
Hello.
First of all, let me thank you again for your hard work in putting these apps together - THANK YOU!
May I ask you a question about "scheduled switch"?
On the restrictions page, I have utilized the following:
Question: Does this mean that the App is not run when the "Away" switch is ON?
Or:Does this mean that the App is not run when the "Away" switch is OFF?
