I would like to be able to open a Android Auto app and hit a button to perhaps open the garage or unlock the doors. is there anything out there that would let me do this, perhaps something with Maker.
I am not sure if there are any AA apps that will let me run a GET link . ideas?
the HD+ dashboard has (had?) the ability to create shortcuts to specific devices from its dashboard as I recall. you could put one on your andriod auto screen that way maybe? I believe they are called Widgets
I tested it a bit a while back - it worked great - you could set a switch to your home screen this way.
I just added it to HD+
